chocolate crunch protein bars


It's been all about the chocolate in my latest recipes, hasn't it!! I am definitely all about the super simple recipes at the moment too; so much to do and so little time! I'm always on the look out for new protein bars and snacks to try and I really fancied something chocolatey but crunchy the other day. So, I whipped up these Chocolate Crunch Protein Bars. Only 5 ingredients and super delicious!
Good job I had some puffed rice and chocolate in the cupboard because this recipe wouldn't have happened if I didn't.

2 Cups Puffed Rice
1 Scoop Chocolate Protein (I used WheyBox)
1/3 Cup Cacao
1/3 Cup Honey
1/3 Cup Almond Milk

Optional: Chocolate sauce for topping.

method

Mix almond milk, cacao, protein powder and honey in a bowl until well combined and then add puffed rice and mix until all of the cereal is covered.
Pop in a lined baking tray and freeze for 2-3 hours to set.

Can be stored up to one week in the freezer.
