Chocolate orange protein Pancakes


Can I just get a moment of appreciation for this stack of drool-worthy pancakes? I mean, just LOOK at them!

This stack of pure heaven is probably my favourite pancake recipe on my website to date. Legit amazing. I mean, it doesn't get much better than the combination of chocolate and orange flavours, does it?! And that almond butter mountain! Wow I am seriously proud of these :)

This recipe makes for the perfect weekend brunch or post-workout re-fuel. Packed full of Whey Box chocolate orange whey, this is a definite winner for a good post-workout feast! Fluffy, chocolatey and the perfect amount of sweet thanks to the cacao and protein to give it that chocolatey sweetness! I also added a WheyHey protein brownie to the topping for some extra added protein and chocolatey deliciousness ;)

(Makes 6 medium pancakes)

​40g Oats
1 Scoop Chocolate Orange Protein 
1 Egg
50ml Almond Milk
3 Tbsp. Greek Yoghurt
1/2 Banana
1 Tbsp. Cacao
1 Tsp. Vanilla 

Coconut Oil for cooking.

method

Pre-heat a small frying pan with 1 tsp. coconut oil in on a medium heat.
In a blender mix all pancake ingredients until you get a smooth, chocolatey looking mixture.
Pour a medium dollop into the pre-heated pan and cook for one minute on each side; repeat for all other pancakes.

Top with your favourite pancake toppings! I used almond butter, grated dark chocolate, honey and nut granola and a WheyHey protein bar! Eat straight away! Good luck trying not to demolish all at once ;)
