July and August favourites |
|
July and August have been a whirlwind couple of months! But, I've been lucky enough to have discovered so many new products, places and general 'stuff' that I thought I would make a little 'guide' of things I am loving at the moment.
get a protein hit
Get this from some protein yoghurt- specifically, Pro-Yo by The Collective. This stuff is actually a game changer when it comes to healthy snacking. They come in three different flavours- Berry, Strawberry and Coconut. Each 125g pouch has a lovely 14g protein in and the calories range between 105-115 which is perfect for a pick me up, snack or even to add to your morning smoothie to make it thicker.
My all time favourite is definitely the Coconut flavour!

indulge in chocolate
Willies Cacao is a chocolate brand that I have always known about but for some reason just never really tried. One day they sent me some lovely little samples to try and oh my goodness guys! The chocolate is seriously good! You may not know this but white chocolate is my all time favourite and Willies Cacao white chocolate is like SO delicious! It's so creamy, smooth and just yum!!
They also do all kinds of other chocolates that I will be writing about in my next review (keep an eye out for that one!).

Baking goods
A few weeks ago we had an Aldi open up in my little town which is obviously REALLY exciting! Here is where I discovered a fab brand that does great powders- Funktional Foods. They do Maca Powder, Cacao Powder and Green Superblend Powder amongst a few others. My favourites are certainly the Cacao and Maca Powders. They are so affordable and come in handy pouches so you don't have a massive bag of powder that it takes you months to get through! A great little addition to my baking cupboard.
Biscuit Crazy
Biscuits are what I really love! So it was great to see a brand I discovered a while ago in Aldi! Yes, Aldi will feature a lot in my life from now on.
These biscuits are Rhythm108 Tea Biscuits- Chocolate Hazelnut and Lemon & Ginger. These biscuits are DA BOMB! And the best thing? They come in small packs of two so they are the perfect afternoon pick-me-up without stuffing your face with a massive pack (yes I'm that person). Crunchy, vegan, gluten-free and 100% delicious and right up my street!

As you can see my new favourites all involve food! But, I certainly love food so it's great discovering new and most importantly affordable foods that I can get my hands on where I live.
Have you any new favourites?
