vegan blueberry crumbleThe cold winter months are well and truly upon us (even though as I type this it's actually 8 degrees outside) and the warming wintery foods have definitely started making an appearance on social media and well, everywhere! There's one dish that I really do love making in winter and that's a good crumble. It doesn't matter whether it's a traditional apple crumble or something a little more exotic; you can guarantee I'm not going to turn it down. With this crumble recipe I decided to go down a slightly different route. Instead of your traditional apple, rhubarb or berries I thought I would stick to one fruit that to be honest, could go either way! But, the blueberries came through and the combination of flavours from the orange and maple alongside the blueberries worked absolutely perfectly! You could add a selection of berries if you wanted to make it a little different and add another dimension to the flavour.
