top 5 what I eat for breakfast |
|
Breakfast is my favourite meal in the day. It's something I look forward to every night when I go to bed...mainly because all I think about is food lol. Here are my top 5 breakfast ideas and why I love them so much.
Greek Yoghurt
This is my all time favourite breakfast. It is so versatile and you can add pretty much anything to it! I also love it because you can have it on the go. Many times I have started work ridiculously early and taken my trusty yoghurt pot packed full of yoghurt and many toppings! Just take a look at the following photos...this pretty much sums up why greek yoghurt is so amazing.
Eggs
Eggs are my second favourite. Again they are easy to cook and so versatile! Scrambled, fried, boiled, etc...
Eggs can also be served with pretty much anything too. Salad, vegetables, on toast or in bread with some delicious crispy bacon to make the nicest bacon and egg sandwich! I also love serving with a protein roll from Lidl. If you haven't tried them...you must!

Porridge Oats
This is my favourite breakfast when I've done an early morning workout and I need those carbs to refuel. Again you can add any toppings you desire to porridge :).
Waffles and Pancakes
Did someone say pancakes?? I LOVE pancakes! This is usually a treat breakfast for us when we have a little more time at the weekends to cook up a pancake or waffle storm in the kitchen. I always add protein powder to my pancakes and waffles and I love them topped with Choc Shot and Berries.
Smoothies
I really enjoy a smoothie in the morning when I'm not feeling all that hungry or when I'm a little more strapped for time. I love anything fruity and you can't go wrong with a green smoothie either.
