blueberry mango smoothie
As I sit here and write this recipe, looking at the photos and seeing the summer vibes shine through in the images, I can't help but feel a little deflated when I turn to my right and look out of the window to see winter has returned and it's continuously pouring it down. Where has summer gone?!
I got all excited last week when we had such glorious and beautiful weather that I thought it was definitely time to start playing around with some refreshing smoothie recipes. Now I'm starting to wonder if the sun is going to come back!
I am probably being a little over dramatic, I mean, it's got to come back hasn't it?! The app on my phone says it is and we all know that apps are super accurate at everything! *rolls eyes*
In the spirit of keeping summer alive and willing the sunshine to come back right now I will pop a big smile on my face and cross everything as I type up this recipe for you :)
This smoothie recipe contains protein from WheyBox in it but do feel free to have it without, it tastes just as good!
1 cup Mango Chunks
1 cup Blueberries
1/4 Cup Greek Yoghurt
1 Small Frozen Banana
1 cup Water
1 Sachet Vanilla or Banana Protein
1/2 Cup Spinach
Simply blend all ingredients in a blender or smoothie maker, whatever you have, for around 2 minutes.
Serve in the sunshine with your sunnies on and your feet up :)
